Established in 2000, Sarasas Witaed Bangbon School is the 14th school in the Sarasas Group. It is the fourth to offer a bilingual programme (Thai-English). Nowadays, schools that provide bilingual programmes are hugely popular among parents as they offer students an opportunity to learn from native-speaking teachers.
Sarasas Witaed Bangbon School is part of the Sarasas group which was established with a commitment to providing high-quality education. The school was founded by Mr.Piboon and Mrs.Pensri Yongkamol. They had the ambition of provide a good education to students in order to enable them to develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually. They also wanted students to be able to communicate in English like native speakers. The school provides such opportunities to students at a reasonable cost, without having the need to go abroad.
Currently, Sarasas Witaed Bangbon School has 5,918 students on its roll. The school employs 501 Thai teachers together with 174 foreign teachers.
โรงเรียนสารสาสน์วิเทศบางบอน เปิดการเรียนการสอนเมื่อปีการศึกษา 2543 เป็นโรงเรียน ลําดับที่ 14 ของโรงเรียนในเครือสารสาสน์ และเป็นโรงเรียนลําดับที่ 4 ที่จัดการเรียนการสอน ด้วยการใช้สื่อการสอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ หรือ Bilingual Programme (Thai-English) โรงเรียน ที่จัดระบบการเรียนการสอนแบบสองภาษาได้รับความนิยมจากผู้ปกครองเป็นจํานวนมาก นักเรียนทุกคนจะมีประสบการณ์จริงในการเรียนรู้จากการเรียนการสอนของครูซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของภาษา
ด้วยประสบการณ์ วิสัยทัศน์ และความมุ่งมั่นของท่านผู้ก่อตั้งโรงเรียนในเครือสารสาสน์ อาจารย์พิบูลย์ และ อาจารย์เพ็ญศรี ยงค์กมล ที่ต้องการให้เด็กซึ่งเป็นเยาวชนของชาติได้ศึกษา เล่าเรียน และพัฒนาตนอย่างเต็มศักยภาพ ทั้งร่างกาย อารมณ์ สังคม และสติปัญญา มีวิชาการดี และสามารถพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้เหมือนเจ้าของภาษา โดยเสียค่าใช้จ่ายน้อยที่สุดและไม่ต้อง เดินทางไปเรียนในต่างประเทศ โรงเรียนสารสาสน์วิเทศบางบอนจึงเป็นโรงเรียนหนึ่งของ กลุ่มโรงเรียนในเครือสารสาสน์ ที่เกิดขึ้นจากความมุ่งมั่นที่จะจัดการศึกษาอย่างมีคุณภาพ
ปัจจุบันโรงเรียนสารสาสน์วิเทศบางบอน มีจํานวนนักเรียนทั้งสิ้น 4,370 คน ครูไทย จํานวน 395 คน และ ครูต่างชาติจํานวน 131 คน
